Dhanbad, May 8: BIT Sindri Innovation and Incubation Cell released a book on the subject of ‘entrepreneurship’, the first of its kind in technical education.

On this occasion, Jharkhand University of Technology (JUT) Ranchi Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof DK Singh while addressing online, appreciated the book and said that the practical instructions and well-crafted course material in this book will give an intensive learning experience for students.

The V-C Prof Singh thanked Prof Prakash Kumar, Prof Ramesh Yadav, Prof Raj Jaswa, and other authors for the practical instructions and the well-crafted curriculum of this book.

World of entrepreneurship

BIT Sindri Director Prof Pankaj Rai said that this book is designed to equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills to navigate the exciting yet challenging world of entrepreneurship.

Shedding light on this ambitious book, Prof Prakash Kumar, head of the Department of Production and Industrial Engineering  (PIE) BIT Sindri said that a 700-page book is compiled with keynote lectures of  Indian and USA experts, some faculty members and extract of some foreign books.

Comprehensive course on entrepreneurship

Since BIT Sindri in collaboration with the Jharkhand University of Technology has launched a comprehensive ‘Entrepreneurship’ course for students in the institution from the 4th semester, Prof Prakash Kumar said this book will make their task easy to know.

“Meaning entrepreneurship is not just starting a business, rather, it is about identifying opportunities, tackling challenges with creativity and creating something that has a positive impact on our society,” said  Prof  Prakash Kumar

Adjunct faculty member and expert of entrepreneurship Prof Ramesh Yadav, whose keynotes ( lectures) are also compiled in the book,  on the occasion said that the book covers essential topics like New Product Introduction (NPI), Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), start-up fundraising, BMC, business entity formation and operations, and sales and marketing strategies.

On this occasion, besides JUT VC  Prof DK Singh, director, BIT Sindri, Pro Pankaj Rai, Prof in -charge of Innovation and Incubation Prof Prakash Kumar, Adjunct Faculty of Entrepreneurship. Ramesh Yadav, serial entrepreneur Prof Raj Jaswa,  and many principals and professors of  the Jharkhand University of Technology colleges were present.
