Dhanbad, May 12: Tech enthusiasts at BIT Sindri showcased their creative problem-solving skills on the second day of the ongoing 36-hour coding marathon, progressing through innovative challenges.

Dr. S.C. Dutta, Head of the Department of Computer Science and IT and convenor of Hackathon-25, shared that participants focused on a range of technical areas, including Artificial Intelligence (AI/ML), Blockchain, and Web & Android Development.

Dr. Pankaj Rai, Director of BIT Sindri, encouraged the participants to develop advanced solutions under the theme “Hack the Future,” emphasizing the importance of pushing the boundaries of technology.

Prof. Ghanshyam, Chairman of the Career Development Centre (CDC), also attended the event and stressed the role of industry partnerships in enhancing students’ skill development and bridging the gap between academia and industry.
Prof. Mohammad Akram Khan, Assistant Professor in the IT department and co-convener of the event, provided ongoing technical guidance to the participants throughout the event.

The judging panel included experts such as Santosh Ghosh, DIO of Jamtara; Saleha Khan, Senior Software Analyst; Dr. Dinesh Prabhakar, Assistant Professor at NIAMT Ranchi; and Prof. S.C. Dutta, Head of the CSE & IT Department at BIT Sindri. They assessed the participants’ work on technical excellence and innovation.

Faculty members from BIT Sindri, including Mohammad Akram Khan, Vikas Kumar Singh, Vijay Besra, Sachin Agrawal, Jitendra Kumar, Khustar Ansari, and Mukesh Chandra, mentored participants, offering valuable guidance and helping turn ideas into effective solutions.
