Jamshedpur, Jan 13: The Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of South Eastern Railway’s Chakradharpur division, Tarun Huria inspected Adityapur railway station this morning.
The DRM interacted with officials and reviewed the status of the ongoing works and available facilities at the station.
DRM criticizes delay in Amrit Yojana development work
During the inspection, the DRM expressed dissatisfaction over the delay in the development work going on under the Amrit Yojana. He said that this delay is the result of the negligence of the concerned agency. The DRM reprimanded the agency representatives and the concerned departmental officials.
He clarified that the work of Amrit Yojana at Adityapur station was to be completed by January 2025, but the work is still incomplete. The construction of the platform is also incomplete, causing inconvenience to the passengers.

Assurances for swift completion of work
The DRM described Adityapur station as an important centre of the railways and said that the development work that should have been done at the station could not be done on time. He stressed on the need to provide better facilities to the railway passengers.
He also assured that necessary steps are being taken to complete the incomplete works soon and remove the deficiencies of the station. The Adityapur railway station will soon be equipped with better amenities for passengers.
