Ranchi, July 3: After Hemant Soren was released from jail, a meeting of the INDI Alliance was held on Wednesday. In the meeting, it was unanimously decided to make Hemant Soren the Chief Minister of Jharkhand again.

Following this, Champai Soren and Hemant Soren met with the Governor CP Radhakrishnan. Champai Soren submitted his resignation from the Chief Minister’s post to the Governor.
Meanwhile, Hemant Soren met with the Governor and staked his claim to form the government.

Congress state in-charge Ghulam Ahmed Mir, Pradesh Congress President Rajesh Thakur, and RJD leader Satyanand Bhokta were also present with them.

Meanwhile, Champai Soren and Hemant Soren exited the Raj Bhavan together. Both addressed the media. Hemant Soren mentioned to the media that everything is clear and they will inform everyone about any developments. He said it was not the right time to say much.

Champai Soren stated that he resigned of his own accord and Hemant Soren will be the next Chief Minister. He added that he had fulfilled his responsibilities well in Hemant’s absence. Now, they are waiting for the Governor’s invitation so that Hemant Soren can once again take the oath as Chief Minister.
Earlier in the day, the INDI Alliance MLAs and leaders, at a meeting decided to replace Champai Soren with Hemant Soren, who has been granted bail by the Jharkhand High Court in a money laundering case related to a land scam in Ranchi.
According to sources, Hemant Soren was once again elected the leader of the legislature party in the meeting of the ruling coalition’s legislature party held on Wednesday at the Chief Minister’s residence on Kanke Road in Ranchi. It was decided to make Champai Soren the chairman of the coordination committee.
Congress state in-charge Ghulam Ahmad Mir was also present in the meeting along with Chief Minister Champai Soren and Hemant Soren among others.
