THE JHARKHAND STORY DESK

Ranchi, March 7: Bipin Mishra, a major coal transporter, was shot by criminals in Ranchi city near Central Academy School on Bariatu Road. He was admitted to Medica Hospital in an injured state, where he is receiving treatment.

It is reported that the criminals fired several rounds at Bipin Mishra, hitting him with two bullets. His condition is said to be critical. Upon receiving information about the incident, the Bariatu police reached Medica Hospital, and an investigation into the matter has begun.

Mayank Singh of the Aman Sahu gang has claimed responsibility for the shooting of Bipin Mishra. In a press release issued on social media, Mayank Singh stated that he takes responsibility for the attack on Bipin Mishra. He added that although Mishra survived, his efforts would continue.

He warned all petty contractors, subcontractors, and transporters working for Bipin Mishra across Jharkhand to stop their operations, stating, “How long will you continue working with the backing of any other gang, Mishra?”

Bipin Mishra has been involved in the coal business for a long time. His company, PNM, handles coal transportation for several power plants.

The criminals had previously attempted multiple times to plan an attack on Bipin Mishra over extortion and ransom demands. However, due to the prompt action of the police, the criminals were caught each time.

This sensational incident in the heart of the capital has created an atmosphere of fear among coal transporters.
