Daltonganj, September 21: Daltonganj railway station is getting ready to welcome the maiden run of the Vande Bharat train on Sunday on platform number 1.

Palamu BJP MP Vishnu Dayal Ram and a host of leaders are to welcome this train and flag it off for Patna.

Daltonganj railway station superintendent Umesh Kumar said, “The train is to arrive at 10:42 am on Sunday. It has a 2-minute stoppage here.”

This 8-coach train takes around 5 hours to reach Patna with fare for car chair Rs 1,110 per passenger and Rs 1,915 per passenger in the executive class for Patna from Daltonganj.

Umesh Kumar said Vande Bharat has only four stoppages between Daltonganj and Patna.

The stoppages are Garhwa Road junction, Sone Nagar, Gaya and Patna.

Its speed is 110 km per hour.

Umesh Kumar said Vande Bharat runs once a week from this route.

The down Vande Bharat is on Monday from Patna to Jamshedpur via Daltonganj.
