Jharkhand News: DBMS English School Jamshedpur holds felicitation function for students

Jamshedpur, June 24: A grand felicitation function was held at D. B. M. S. English School’s auditorium to celebrate the outstanding achievements of the students of Std. X and Std. XII who appeared for the ICSE and ISC Board Examinations 2024.

Out of 160 students in the ISC batch, 69 students were single pointers (ISC Grading System 2024 comprises a 9-numbered grading scale, with 1 being the highest and 9 being the lowest) and were felicitated with cash awards, congratulatory cards, and gifts.

Additionally, 10 students who scored more than 95% in the ISC Board Examinations were honoured with silver medallions.

The topper of the ICSE batch, Priyanshu Kundu, secured an impressive 99.6%, making him the state topper. He received a gold medallion in recognition of his achievement.

In the ICSE Board Examinations 2024, 217 students appeared, and 110 students were single pointers (ICSE 10th Grading System 2024 consists of points from 1 to 9 with 1 being the highest point and 9 being the lowest point).

Furthermore, 86 students scored 90% and above, considering English and the best four subjects. 16 students from the ICSE 2024 batch, who are continuing their education at D. B. M. S. English School and scored 90% and above in every subject, received scholarships for Std. XI and were honoured with silver coins.

Members of the School Managing Committee, the Principal, Vice-Principal, and Coordinators presented the awards. They all expressed their happiness and pride in the excellent performance of the students.

ISC – Science Stream 2024 Rank 1: Arunesh Gadia – 96.25% – Silver Coin, Rank 1: Naman Murrka – 96.25% – Silver Coin, Rank 2: Jasdeep Singh – 96% – Silver Coin, Rank 3: Abhinaav Prem – 95.25% – Silver Coin, Rank 3: Priyanshu Chakraborty – 95.25% – Silver Coin, Rank 4: Ifrah Samina – 94.75% – Silver Coin, Rank 5: Akshat Khedia – 94.5% – Silver Coin, Rank 5: Drishti Choudhary – 94.5% – Silver Coin.

ISC – Commerce Stream 2024 Rank 1: Shatam Chakraborty – 96.25% – Silver Coin, Rank 2: Punya Jain – 96% – Silver Coin
