Dhanbad, May 22: The Alumni Association of the 50-year-old De Nobili School, Sijua, Dhanbad, has officially been registered under the Indian Trust Act, 1920. The registration aims to facilitate the association’s efforts in promoting social welfare and supporting both the institution and its students.

President of the De Nobili Alumni Association, C.S. Francis, described the moment as a milestone for former students. “It is a golden day for all former Nobilians as we have received official recognition. This reflects the strong bond alumni share with their alma mater and their commitment towards it,” said Francis.

Focus on Welfare and Social Initiatives

With legal recognition now in place, the association plans to launch several welfare programs and participate actively in regional social initiatives.

“We will soon organize an alumni meet, launch a membership drive, implement development plans, and work to promote the moral values instilled by De Nobili School,” the president added.

Five-Point Agenda

In the initial phase, the association has outlined a five-point agenda. This includes building a global alumni network, supporting the career development of current students, encouraging community service, fulfilling social responsibilities, and establishing a scholarship fund to assist students in need.

Prominent alumni present on the occasion included Secretary Rohi Choudhary (CA), Manoj Khemka, Vivek Sahay, Kirti Singh, Dr. Dheeraj Choudhary, and Chandan Singh.
