Dhanbad, May 14: The Dhanbad District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) launched a special campaign on Wednesday to protect residents of the coal city from the severe heatwave by distributing ORS (Oral Rehydration Solution) liquid.

Sub-Judge and DLSA Secretary Mayank Tushar Topno, while inaugurating the campaign, emphasized that ORS is a vital remedy for dehydration during extreme heat conditions. “Considering the ongoing heatwave, DLSA has decided to distribute ORS to the public to prevent heat-related illnesses,” he said.

Dr. Rajiv Kumar, a physician present at the launch, noted that ORS plays a crucial role in protecting the body from heat-related ailments.
