Dhanbad, Mar 31: Police have lodged an FIR against BJP MLA Dhulu Mahto and extortionist Prince Khan of Wasseypur on the statement of Dhanbad Marwari Sammelan district president Krishna Agrawal in Barbadda police station of the district for giving threats.
Barbadda police station officer-in-charge Sunil Kumar Ravi told media persons that on the statement of Krishna Agrawal, an FIR has been lodged against Dhulu Mahto and Prince Khan under IPC Sections 387, 504, 506, 109 and 120 B.
Krishna Agrawal raises alarm over threats, opposes Dhulu Mahto’s candidature
Krishna Agrawal on the basis of a viral audio clipping had written to senior superintendent of police (SSP) that his entire family members were in panic from it. The audio clipping was reportedly issued by Dubai-based extortionist Prince Khan in which he has asked Agrawal not to oppose Dhanbad BJP candidate Dhulu Mahto. He has threatened Agrawal and Jamshedpur East independent MLA Saryu with dire consequences if they continue to do it.
Krishna Agrawal in his letter to SSP HP Janardhan has also expressed apprehension that on the directive of Dhulu Mahto, Prince Khan and his henchmen may attack him and his family members.

After FIR senior superintendent of police has provided bodyguard to Krishna Agrawal. On Friday, Krishna Agrawal and Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy held a joint press conference and opposed the candidature of Dhulu Mahto from the Dhanbad Lok Sabha seat.
Earlier Krishna Agrawal who is a former BJP leader had on Thursday shot off a letter to BJP state president Babulal Marandi demanding changing of Dhulu Mahto’s candidature from Dhanbad as he is facing several cases. On this issue, Dhulu Mahto allegedly rang Krishna Agrawal and threatened him for doing that.
Dhulu Mahto seeks forensic probe of audio clip
After the FIR, Baghmara MLA Dhulu Mahto shot off a letter to the Dhanbad deputy commissioner (DC) demanding a forensic probe of the viral audio clipping. In his letter, Dhulu Mahto said that on March 30th an audio clip was issued against him to defame him. It is a serious crime and conspiracy to affect the Lok Sabha election.
