Dhanbad, Jan 1: Dr. Prathyush Madhur, an alumnus of Delhi Public School (DPS) Bokaro, has secured the All-India Rank (AIR) 1 in the Institute of National Importance Super Speciality (INI-SS) Surgical Gastroenterology 2024 Examination.
A DPS Bokaro official confirmed that Dr. Prathyush, a 2002 batch alumnus, is currently serving as a Lieutenant Colonel in Jammu and Kashmir. In addition, he is a general surgeon in the Indian Army.
Dr. Prathyush’s success is attributed to his unwavering focus, perseverance, and academic brilliance. The INI-SS examination opens the doors to prestigious medical institutions across the country, including AIIMS, JIPMER, and PGIMER, for super-speciality courses.

Dr. Madhur credited his early education at DPS Bokaro for providing a strong academic foundation and inspiring him to pursue excellence in the medical field.
The DPS Bokaro official further highlighted that the Institute of National Importance Super Speciality examination is regarded as a benchmark of excellence in medical education. AIIMS, which conducts this prestigious exam annually, is known for its rigorous selection process and exceptional programmes.
The principal of DPS Bokaro, Dr. A. S. Gangwar, extended his heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Prathyush for his remarkable achievement.
