Ranchi, May 3: DPS Ranchi students have clinched top honours in the International Social Studies Olympiad 2023-24.
The competition witnessed remarkable achievements from the school’s budding scholars.
Neel Goswami is global frontrunner
Leading the pack, Neel Goswami of Class V emerged as the global frontrunner, securing International Rank 01 and claiming the coveted cash prize of Rs. 25,000, showcasing unparalleled academic prowess at a young age. Neel will be felicitated by Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) at Delhi on June 2.
Ameya Devarshi to get Rs 5,000 cash prize
Adding to the glory, Ameya Devarshi (Class VI) showcased exceptional talent, clinching a notable cash prize of Rs. 5,000. Advaith A (Class III) and Saket Singh (Class III) also demonstrated commendable performance, bagging cash prizes of Rs. 2,500 and Rs. 1,000 respectively.

Moreover, 11 other students from DPS Ranchi showcased their proficiency by securing cash prizes of Rs. 500 each, underscoring the school’s collective commitment to excellence.
DPS Ranchi’s remarkable achievements extended beyond individual accolades, with students securing International Ranks up to 22 and Regional and Zonal Ranks within the top 10.
In light of these outstanding accomplishments, Principal Dr Ram Singh congratulated the students, praising their dedication, perseverance, and exemplary performance. Dr Singh reiterated the school’s unwavering support for academic excellence and holistic development, encouraging students to continue striving for greatness in all endeavours.
