Jamshedpur, Oct 3: The Durga Puja festivities concluded on a peaceful and harmonious note this year in Jamshedpur.
Devotees from across the region thronged various pandals to offer prayers and participate in the cultural programs, celebrating the festival with devotion, enthusiasm, and discipline.
The festival, marked by vibrant decorations, artistic idol displays, and traditional rituals, witnessed large gatherings, but the atmosphere remained calm and organized throughout.

Local administrative authorities, including the Deputy Commissioner (DC) and senior SP expressed their heartfelt appreciation to the citizens for maintaining law and order during the celebrations.
Police teams were deployed across key areas to ensure smooth traffic management and the safety of visitors, and the efforts proved effective in preventing any untoward incidents.
Volunteers and local organizations also played a significant role in managing crowds and facilitating the celebrations.
On the final day of the festival, devotees bid an emotional farewell to Maa Durga, immersing the idol in rivers and ponds amid chants and traditional music.
