Dhanbad, July 5: The Ranchi Enforcement Directorate (ED) team’s search operation in the houses of ex-contractual NRHM employee and coal trader Pramod Singh and his associates in Dhanbad concluded after 15 hours in the late evening of Thursday.

The search operation in connection with the disproportionate asset case began at 6 am on Thursday at six locations related to Pramod Singh and his associates and concluded at 9 PM.
Pramod Singh is out of station
Pramod Singh’s lawyer Vikash Bhubania said that he (Pramod Singh) was out of Dhanbad but his family members cooperated with ED team officials in the search operation.

The ED team seized documents related to the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) scam, luxury cars and two mobile phones from the residence of Pramod Singh.

Pramod Singh was a contractual employee (accountant ) of the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) posted at Jharia Jorapokhar Community Health Centre (CHC) of Dhanbad.
ACB had raided Pramod’s house in 2016
In 2016, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) team of Ranchi raided Pramod Singh’s house in connection with the NRHM scam and found massive disproportionate assets.
Official sources said ED on Thursday conducted a raid of Pramod Singh and his associate’s houses in connection with a disproportionate asset case.
During 15 hour search operation, the ED team raided five locations of his associates including his brother-in-law Divya Prakash Singh in Bhuli ‘B’ Block, Arun Kumar Singh in Nawadih, Ashwani Kumar Sharma, Anjiv Singh in Bhuli Township, and Mahesh Paswan in Jagjivan Nagar.
