Ranchi, July 4: The “Empowered Women Panchayat Leader Campaign” was officially launched today at the Central Training Institute in Hehal, Ranchi, under the Revamped Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan (RGSA) scheme.

The initiative aims to provide dedicated training to all elected women representatives from across Jharkhand.

As part of the campaign, a training program for Sustainable Development Trainers of Empowered Panchayats was also inaugurated.

This programme is designed to equip women representatives with the necessary skills and knowledge in leadership, governance, and sustainable development.

Officials stated that the initiative not only recognizes the importance of women’s leadership but also seeks to position them at the forefront of village development.

With this training, women representatives are expected to become more effective agents of change, enhancing their roles as key decision-makers in grassroots governance.
