Jharkhand News: Energy Secretary Avinash Kumar gets Development Commissioner’s charge

Ranchi, Jan. 4: The state government handed over the additional charge of development commissioner to additional chief secretary (energy) Avinash Kumar today.

Kumar also holds the charge of home secretary in Jharkhand.

The Development Commissioner’s post has been lying vacant since the retirement of Arun Kumar Singh on December 31.

However, the health secretary post held by Singh is still vacant.

In a notification issued by the Department of Personnel, Additional Chief Secretary (Panchayati raj) Rajiv Arun Ekka has been given the additional charge of the Member, Board of Revenue. The post has been lying vacant following the superannuation of AP Singh on November 30.
