Jamshedpur, Dec 17: Greenfield Sanskarshala, Sonari Kadma, celebrated its annual sports day at Joggers Park, Sonari. The event aimed to foster sportsmanship, physical fitness, and discipline among the students.
The program commenced with a march past, where the students showcased discipline and unity. The sports oath and a welcome speech set tone for the day, creating a lively atmosphere across the park.
The Chief Guest, G. Lalitha, addressed the gathering with an inspirational speech emphasizing the role of sports in shaping students’ lives. “Sports teach essential life skills, including teamwork and resilience. I encourage all students to actively participate in sports for their holistic development,” she said.

Principal Ekta Agarwal also motivated the students, highlighting the multi-faceted benefits of sports. “Sports not only enhance physical health but also contribute to mental well-being and self-confidence,” she remarked.
The event featured a variety of thrilling competitions, including running, relay races, garland races, and bus races. Students participated with enthusiasm, demonstrating their talent and competitive spirit.
The program concluded with an award ceremony, where the Chief Guest felicitated the winners with prizes and certificates. Congratulating the achievers, Lalitha encouraged all participants to continue striving for excellence in sports.
The event was attended by 140 students, teachers, and parents. It was a memorable day that reinforced the importance of sports and physical activity in education.
