Dhanbad, July 23: In the wake of blocking in the Ranchi Rail Division of  South Eastern Railway (SER) zone, movement of trains no 13503 and 13504 Hatia-Barddhaman MEMU Express which run via Dhanbad has been cancelled for three days from today.

Giving this information, Senior Divisional Commerce Manager ( Sr DCM) of Dhanbad Rail Division Amresh Kumar said that both up and down trains ( 13503/ 13504) had been cancelled due to traffic blockades on the route on July 23, July 25 and July 29.

Hatia- Barddhaman Memu Express is considered a lifeline for people of the north and south parts.

Dhanbad-Bhubaneswar Special train rescheduled

The Sr DCM said besides, cancelling train no. 13503/13504, the timing scheduled for the Dhanbad-Bhubaneswar Special train (02831) starting from Dhanbad has also been revised for July 25 and July 29.

The train departs from Dhanbad Junction at 1600 and reaches Bhubaneswar at 7.45 the next day. But now under revised timing, the train will depart 30 minutes late, he added.
