Jharkhand News: HC judges to attend state-level Special Lok Adalat in Dhanbad

Dhanbad, June 28: A State level Special Lok Adalat related to land and revenue cases, land acquisition cases, displacement and compensation issues and other ancillary matters will be organized at Koyla Nagar Community Hall of Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) on June 29.

Rakesh Roshan, Secretary, District Legal Service Authority (DLSA) said that the Special Lok Adalat is being organized by DLSA. On the occasion acting Chief  Justice of Jharkhand High Court cum patron-in-chief,  Jharkhand Legal Services  Authority (JHALSA)  Justice Chandrashekhar will be the chief guest and justice cum executive chairman of JHALSA Sujit Narayan Prasad will be the guest of honour.

Besides, Justice Rongon Mukhopadhyay (chairman HCLSC and administrative judge, Dhanbad Judgeship) and Justice Ananda Sen will also grace the Special Lok Adalat.

Principal District and Session Judge Ram Sharma, deputy commissioner (DC) Dhanbad Madhvi Mishra, senior superintendent of police (SSP)  HP Janardhan, chairman cum managing director of  BCCL Samiran Dutta will be also present in the Special Lok Adalat.

In the wake of revenue, land acquisition, displacement and compensation cases, Dhanbad-based public and private sector companies including  BCCL, Eastern Coalfield Limited, SAIL Chasnala, Tata Steel Jharia Division, Dhanbad Rail Division authorities have been asked to attend.
