Jamshedpur, Dec 26: On the occasion of the 100th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, a grand program was organized by ‘Atal Vichar Vahini’ to honor his legacy and contributions.
The event, held at Kali Mati Road, resounded with slogans of “Atal Bihari Vajpayee Amar Rahe,” paying tribute to the statesman who shaped Indian politics and governance.
The program began with a floral tribute to Atal Ji’s portrait and was presided over by Amarpreet Singh Kale, founder of ‘Atal Vichar Vahini’ and BJP state spokesperson.
Tributes to Vajpayee’s visionary leadership
In his address, Kale said, “Atal Ji was the top man of Indian politics. His life symbolizes simplicity, dedication, and service. His policies and thoughts inspire all of us. Atal Ji was not just a politician, but an ideology who gave a new direction to India.”
Senior BJP leader Abhay Singh highlighted Atal Ji’s visionary leadership, stating, “Atal Ji dreamed of making India a strong nation and turned it into a reality. His farsighted policies gave India a special identity on the global stage. The historic decisions taken under his leadership continue to guide us.”

Shailendra Kumar Singh urged attendees to imbibe Atal Ji’s thoughts and ideals, saying, “We should follow the path shown by Atal Ji. His life teaches us that every challenge can be overcome through service and dedication.”
Senior journalist Brij Bhushan Singh commended the efforts of ‘Atal Vichar Vahini,’ calling the initiative to honor Atal Ji’s legacy “commendable.”
A call to carry forward Vajpayee’s vision
A key highlight of the program was the call to utilize Atal Ji’s ideals as a guiding light for current and future generations. Emphasis was placed on his contributions to strengthening India’s global standing, his commitment to inclusive governance, and his ability to inspire across political and social divides.
The program’s dignified execution, managed by Dhanurdhar Tripathi, drew a large gathering from various sections of society, reaffirming Atal Ji’s enduring legacy. The event concluded with a collective resolve to carry forward his vision and ideals for a better and stronger India.

Key figures present
The program saw participation from senior BJP leaders, journalists, community representatives, and dignitaries from various fields.
Speakers included Neeraj Singh, Jaiprakash Rai, Anjani Pandey, MP representative Sanjeev Kumar, and Ravindra of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, who shared their insights on Atal Ji’s multifaceted personality and his contributions to nation-building.
The event also honored several dignitaries, including Zila Parishad member Devyani Murmu, Kusum Purti, former District President of Mahila Morcha Rajpati Devi, and others, with shawls and mementos. The dignitaries emphasized Atal Ji’s pivotal role in shaping modern India and urged everyone to carry forward his vision.
