Jamshedpur, Oct 4: Demonstrating his unwavering commitment to social responsibility, Chanchal Bhatia donated platelets for the 14th time at the Jamshedpur blood bank. Responding to an urgent call from the blood bank, Bhatia promptly arrived and made his life-saving donation. This marks his 14th platelet donation, having previously donated 13 times to help those in need.
Dr. Sanjay Chaudhary, head of the blood bank, expressed his gratitude to Chanchal Bhatia, praising his consistent efforts to donate platelets and blood to patients requiring critical care. “His dedication to this cause is truly inspiring,” said Dr. Chaudhary.

BJP Sikh leader Satvir Singh Somu also commended Bhatia’s selfless act, noting that the current surge in dengue cases, due to seasonal changes, has led to a growing demand for platelet donations. “In such times, people like Chanchal Bhatia are a beacon of hope for those in dire need of platelets,” said Somu.
The event was attended by several prominent figures who came to encourage and support Bhatia, including Indrajit Singh Inder, Dr. Manoj Mahato, Arijit Sarkar of Pratik Sangharsh Foundation, Harbhajan Singh, Akash Singh, and Kumaresh. Their presence highlighted the importance of platelet donation in saving lives, particularly during health crises like the ongoing dengue outbreak.
