Jamshedpur, April 28: Subramanian Srinivasan, fondly known as Chinnu in local circles, has scripted history in the world of sports. A marathoner for the past 15 years, Subramanian recently achieved a remarkable milestone by winning the prestigious “Procam Slam Award”, a rare honor among India’s running community.

The Procam Slam Challenge, organized by Procam International, requires participants to complete four premier marathons across India—Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Bengaluru—within a single season.

Subramanian successfully conquered this challenge during the 2024-25 season, participating in: October 2024: Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon (21.097 km), December 2024: TSK 25K in Kolkata (25 km), January 2025: Tata Mumbai Marathon (42.195 km) and April 2025: TCS World 10K Bengaluru (10 km).

By completing all four races, he earned the coveted Procam Slam Medal and a Certificate of Achievement, marking his name among an elite group of runners who have accomplished this feat.

Subramanian, who has now participated in 29 marathons so far, credits his fitness and endurance to consistent training and post-run body care.

Sharing his mantra for health, he emphasized, “Proper exercise and taking care of the body after running are very important. I jog at least 10 km daily and practice yoga regularly, which keeps me fit and away from the doctor.”

He also encouraged people from all walks of life to devote at least 30 minutes to an hour daily to physical exercise, stressing that regular fitness routines can bring transformative health benefits.
