Jamshedpur, July 6: The suicide prevention centre, Jeevan, Jamshedpur, conducted a workshop titled “Empowering Oneself Emotionally” for NCC cadets.
The workshop was organised at NIT, Adityapur, and saw participation from approximately 700 NCC cadets.
Stress audit and techniques to manage stress
Based on its tagline ‘Life is Precious, Let’s Talk’, the centre conducted an hour-long workshop aimed to provide cadets with essential tips on identifying and understanding stressors.
During the session, cadets engaged in a stress audit and learned techniques to quantify and manage their stress levels effectively.

The session was attended by several officers and trainers, all of whom highly appreciated the initiative. Cadets were encouraged to reach out to Jeevan for support if they ever felt overwhelmed by stress.
Jeevan extended an invitation to other organisations interested in hosting similar workshops in their respective areas.
