Jharkhand News: JMA celebrates Kargil Vijay Diwas in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, July 29:  The Jamshedpur Management Association (JMA), in collaboration with Young Indians and CII Jamshedpur, hosted an inspiring talk titled “YODHA: The Real Heroes of our Country” to commemorate Kargil Vijay Diwas at the Centre for Excellence Auditorium here in Jamshedpur today.

The event featured Shiv Kunal Verma, a renowned military historian, filmmaker, and author, as the keynote speaker.

Verma is celebrated for his notable films, including “Project Tiger,” “Kargil War,” “Salt of the Earth,” and “Aakash Yodha,” as well as his acclaimed books “Courage & Conviction,” “The War That Wasn’t,” and “Industani.”

Special guests at the event included Vishal Agarwalla, Board Member of JMA and National Chairperson of Young Indians, and Prof. Sunil Sarangi of XLRI.

Adding to the patriotic fervour, Annesha Partha Mishra delivered a moving musical performance that evoked a profound sense of patriotism among the audience.

In his compelling address, Verma underscored the critical importance of leadership and maintaining a positive attitude. He shared personal stories about the unwavering support from his family during his war documentation projects, highlighting their steadfastness and dedication.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from representatives of esteemed institutions like Arka Jain University, NSU, Srinath University, and XITE, as well as major corporates such as Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

The occasion was a powerful testament to the collective spirit of unity and patriotism, reflecting the community’s deep respect for India’s heroes.
