Judges, judicial officers led by Palamu PDJ take pledge on National Voters' Day

Daltonganj, Jan 25: A battery of judges and judicial officers led by the Principal District and Sessions Judge (PDJ) Niraj Kumar Srivastav took a pledge on the 15th National Voters’ Day today.

The legal luminaries read out the pledge in Hindi, said the Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Arpit Shrivastava.

The theme of the National Voters’ Day 2025 is ‘Nothing like voting, I vote for sure.’

6 mediators get accreditation certificates

Shortly after the pledge-taking ceremony, the PDJ Niraj Kumar Srivastav gave away accreditation certificates to six successful mediators, informed the DLSA Secretary.

These six recipients of the accreditation certificates are the ones who have to their credit 10 successful mediations each.

DLSA Secretary Arpit Shrivastava further said, “These recipients have undertaken 40 hours of training in mediation and conciliation.”

Mediation and conciliation are alternative methods of resolution of disputes where there is a water-tight division between the mediator and the conciliator.
