Jamshedpur, Sept 27: “Sur-Sangat and Battle Symphony” was organized on the second day of “Satrang-14” under the aegis of “SPArC” (Societies for Promotion of Art and Culture), a literary organization of Karim City College, Sakchi, Jamshedpur in which 42 students of the college participated.
Today’s competitive programme “Sur-Sangat” included classical music, semi-classical music, folk solo, Sufi solo and ghazal. The judges of “Sur Sangat” were Sita Singh (former music teacher at Tata Steel) and Shankar Nath Jha (famous musician).

At the same time, Bollywood Solo, Bollywood Duet, Rap Solo and Western Solo were included in the “Battle Symphony”. The judges for Bollywood Solo and Bollywood Duet were Surendra Kumar Sharma (Sangeet Samaj Music College, Jamshedpur), Sweety Mukherjee (Vidya Bharati Chinmaya Vidyalaya Telco) while the judges for Rap Solo and Western Solo were Jashama Afroz.
The program was conducted by Shiuli Palit and Isha Das. College professors and a large number of students participated and enjoyed today’s program.
