Jamshedpur, September 5: Loyola School hosted a heartfelt celebration on Thursday, in honour of Teachers’ Day, paying tribute to the invaluable contributions of its educators in shaping the minds and futures of students. The event was marked by a series of vibrant activities, highlighting the dedication and passion of the teaching staff.
The festivities began a day earlier with a friendly basketball match between students and teachers, setting the tone for the celebrations. On Teachers’ Day, the school organized a special program that included musical and cultural performances by the students, expressing their admiration and respect for their mentors.
The event formally commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and a prayer led by Rector Fr. K.M. Joseph, S.J.

A lively interactive quiz added joy and engagement to the day, giving teachers and students an opportunity to bond in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
In his Vote of Thanks, Principal Fr. Vinod Fernandes, S.J., summed up the celebrations as a meaningful acknowledgement of the unwavering commitment of Loyola’s teachers. He expressed deep gratitude for their tireless efforts in guiding and inspiring students every day.
