Jamshedpur, July 31: Loyola School, Jamshedpur inaugurated the Protean Resource Center, a cutting-edge Skills Lab, becoming the first school in the country to house such advanced technology for hands-on, future-focused learning.

The initiative aims to bridge academic knowledge with practical skills, preparing students for the evolving demands of the world.

Cultural events enlivened the morning – including a prayer dance, a video tribute to St. Ignatius, a poem, musical and folk dance performances, and Ignatian Quiz that celebrated Jesuit values and history.

A Blood Donation Camp was organised by the Loyola Alumni Association, with Principal Fr. Vinod Fernandes becoming the first donor of the day.
The occasion also marked the Silver Jubilee of the priesthood of Fr. KM Joseph, alongside the release of the school’s annual magazine, The Loyolean.
The school celebrated the Feast of St. Ignatius honouring the legacy of the founder of the Society of Jesus.

The celebration was graced by Chief Guest K.V. Vincent, Guest of Honour Colonel Earnest Paul, Fr. KM Joseph (Rector), Fr. Vinod Fernandes (Principal), Fr. Cyril Tigga, Fr. Victor Misquith, and Vice-Principals Jayanthi Sheshadri and Vineeta Ekka.
The festivities concluded with a lunch hosted by the Jesuit community for the staff and faculty.
