Ranchi, May 27: A horrifying incident unfolded on Tuesday morning in Dhoop Basti under the McCluskieganj police station area of Ranchi, where a man named Ravi Lohra brutally murdered his wife and two young children. After committing the crime, the accused fled the scene.
According to reports, Ravi Lohra first killed his wife, Renu Devi, and then went on to murder his two children, aged four and five. Local residents stated that Ravi Lohra had been living at his in-laws’ house.
On Tuesday morning, following a minor dispute, he allegedly attacked his wife and children with a grinding stone used for crushing spices, killing all three.
As soon as the McCluskieganj police received information about the triple murder, they rushed to the spot, took possession of the bodies, and sent them for post-mortem. A search operation has been launched to arrest the absconding accused, Ravi Lohra.
The gruesome incident has sent shockwaves throughout the area, leaving residents in disbelief. Police are conducting a thorough investigation and are making all efforts to apprehend the accused at the earliest.
