Jharkhand News: Navishkar 2024 unveiled to inspire young innovators nationwide

Jamshedpur, April 6: The second edition of Navishkar, the country’s largest young innovators initiative, was inaugurated today at the Chamber Bhawan auditorium in Jamshedpur.

Organized by the Innovation Research Incubation and Innovation Council, the event saw the presence of esteemed guests including Dilkhush Kumar, Founder of Bihar Roadbase, Co-founder Siddharth Shankar Jha, and Manoj Kumar Singh from the Khadi and Village Industries Commission, Government of India.

Plans to engage 50,000 young innovators from 200 cities

This year’s Navishkar promises to be even bigger, with plans to engage 50,000 young innovators from 200 cities across the country.

A 7-day physical boot camp and grand finale will be held in Jamshedpur across six zones, aiming to foster innovation and entrepreneurship among the youth.

Partnerships with 50 incubation centres, including the country’s largest, start-up Chaupal, headquartered in Jaipur, are set to further enrich the start-up ecosystem, particularly in Jharkhand.

Experts share insights and opportunities

Addressing the audience, Manoj Kumar Singh emphasized the need to shift societal attitudes towards entrepreneurship, highlighting its potential as a significant avenue for employment.

Dilkhush Kumar shared his inspiring journey from a taxi driver to the owner of Bihar’s largest taxi company, encouraging youth to embrace risk and think ambitiously.

His insights resonated with many aspiring entrepreneurs present at the event, instilling confidence in the potential for start-ups in Bihar and Jharkhand.

Founder of Navishkar, Amar Nath Singh, outlined the program for Navishkar 2024, inviting applications from April 6th to May 20th.

The selection process, including scrutiny of applications and zonal rounds, will culminate in a grand finale on July 28th and 29th in Jamshedpur, where participants will be evaluated by industry experts.

The event concluded with expressions of gratitude from Amar Nath Singh to all participants and guests, reaffirming the commitment to nurturing innovation and entrepreneurship in the region.

Alongside esteemed guests, members of the Innovation community and representatives from various start-ups in the city were present, underscoring the collaborative spirit driving Navishkar’s mission forward.
