Jamshedpur, Sept 9: NEP Director Santosh Garg carried out a surprise inspection at MGM Hospital on Tuesday to assess the quality of healthcare facilities.
The visit was part of ongoing efforts by the district administration, guided by Deputy Commissioner Karan Satyarthi, to strengthen medical services at the hospital.
During the inspection, the Director checked OPD operations, presence of doctors and paramedical staff, cleanliness of the premises, medicine supply, functioning of the X-ray and Orthopaedics departments, ambulance services, and parking arrangements.

He instructed Hospital Deputy Superintendent Dr. Juzhar Majhi to ensure timely OPD services, staff punctuality, and submission of weekly reports to the Deputy Commissioner’s office. He also directed regular sanitation, proper use of medical equipment, and continuous improvements in patient care.
Hospital Superintendent Dr. Mandhan and Mango Circle Officer Brajesh Srivastava accompanied him during the inspection.
