Jamshedpur, April 15: Netaji Subhash University at Pokhari in the outskirts of steel city came alive with colors, creativity, and expression as the university celebrated World Art Day on its campus today.

The artistic event was organized by the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication with the aim of providing a platform for students to showcase their hidden talents and boost their confidence.
The program commenced with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony and a devotional Ganesh Vandana.

A wide range of competitions were conducted, including poetry, poster making, tattoo designing, stitching and crochet, quiz, and mehndi designing.

Students participated enthusiastically in every activity, expressing their artistic flair in unique and impressive ways. While some conveyed powerful messages through poems and posters, others defined creativity through vibrant designs and intricate patterns.
Dr. Prabhat Kumar Pani, Vice-Chancellor of the university, graced the event as the chief guest.
Applauding the students’ talents, he said, “Art is an expression of the inner self, and the youth of today have the power to use it to bring positive change in society.”
Dean of Administration, Nazim Khan, honored the winners of each competition by awarding them medals and certificates for their performances.

The success of the event was a collective effort of all department heads, faculty members, and students.
