Daltonganj, April 23: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials in Palamu today arrested Gulzar Ansari, a 53-year-old MGNREGA Rozgar Sewak from Korwadeeh panchayat, Garhwa district, for taking bribe.
SP ACB, Palamu, Anjani Anjan confirmed that Ansari was caught red-handed with 5,000 rupees, which he had accepted from Akhilesh Chowdhury, a 31-year-old resident of the same panchayat.

The bribe was taken in exchange for clearing the arrear bills and muster rolls of laborers involved in the Dova scheme.
Chowdhury had lodged a complaint with the ACB, leading to the successful trap.
