Dhanbad, Sept 4: On the occasion of ‘ Prakash Parv’ of the Sikh community, an impressive function was organized in Sindri Gurudwara on Wednesday.
Stri Sabha (women’s wing) conducted and supervised the programme in which Patth of Sukhmani Saheb, Kirtan, Ardas and Guru Lanngar were organized to mark the auspicious day.
Kirtan of Stri Sabha members mesmerised the devotees and kept them attached to function throughout the programme. Tara Devi, wife of Sindri M LA Indrajit Mahto also made her presence throughout the programme and played a major role in the arrangement.
Gurudwara Prabandhan Committee officials said that Prakash Parv is a major religious and cultural function of the Sikh community which concluded peacefully and successfully today. On the occasion, Guru ka Langer was also organized which gave the message of unity in the society.
Smriti Nagi, Devinder Kaur, Japal Kaur, Manjit Kaur, Reet Kaur, Prabhjot Kaur Rita Kaur, Harbhajan Kaur, Harjit Kaur, Balveer Singh Nagi, Harpal Singh, Manjit Singh, Amritpal Singh, Narendra Singh, Surendrapal Singh, Prem Singh, Gurjit Singh, Raja Tagar Venki Uppal, Kulveer Singh Jagdish Singh and Jaspreet Singh made the programme successful.
