Ramgarh, July 24: On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas, a three-day ” Know Your Army” exhibition and visit to the Galley Museum for students of various schools of Ramgarh Cantt was organized at The Punjab Regimental Centre.
In this event, various Military weapons, equipment, and Military bands were displayed. The event greatly inspired and motivated enthusiastic children to join the Indian Army.

Notably, the Indian army played a vital role during the Kargil War wherein our soldiers fought valiantly and defeated the Pak soldiers and chased out the intruders from the Kargil sector. The day reminds us of the sacrifice of martyrs.
This great event was celebrated with Military rituals, in which 204 school children, 10 teachers and all the ranks of Punjab Regimental Centre and their families participated and remembered those martyred soldiers who fought till their last breath to recapture the inhospitable Kargil Heights.
