Led by district convenor Sanjeev Pandey and district president Rohit Mahato, Front activists took out a rally through the city before reaching the collectorate.

The organization has raised concerns over what it sees as the unchecked growth of population which it says poses a threat to India’s cultural and social fabric.

Concerns Over Demographic Shifts

Rashtriya Hindu Front’s state general secretary Vinod Singh stated that the current trend of indiscriminate childbirth must be controlled through legislation.

“Any delay in enacting a Population Control Act could prove disastrous for the nation. A particular community is increasing its population as a deliberate strategy, while the Sanatan society’s younger generation is opting for single-child families. This has led to a demographic imbalance, especially among children under the age of six in several regions,” he said.

Singh highlighted that the Rashtriya Hindu Front (Population Solution Foundation) has been running a nationwide campaign for over 11 years in support of this demand. Their efforts have included thousands of public meetings, protests, interactions with Members of Parliament, and representations to the President of India and other key decision-makers.

Other Demands

Apart from the Population Control Act, the Front has also been campaigning for several other issues. District convenor Sanjeev Pandey stated that the organization is consistently demanding the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code, National Register of Citizens (NRC), an Anti-Infiltration Law, and the dissolution of the Waqf Board.

Several leaders and members of the organization were present during the event, including state co-convenor Deepak Singh, district president Rohit Mahato and others.
