Jharkhand News: SCCI begins 2025-27 session with newly elected office bearers

Jamshedpur, Oct 8: The Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) commenced its 2025-27 session on Tuesday with renewed energy as the newly elected office bearers and executive committee members assumed charge following the recent elections.

The formal meeting, attended by former presidents Muralidhar Kedia and G.R. Golcha, was marked by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by president Manav Kedia and former office bearers, symbolizing a fresh start and collective commitment to the Chamber’s objectives.

Addressing the gathering, president Manav Kedia emphasized the Chamber’s tradition of smoothly handing over responsibilities to newly elected members during the 74th General Meeting held in September.

He urged the office bearers and committee members to work with dedication, maintain the trade body’s dignity, and address the concerns of traders and entrepreneurs with unity and vigour.

Outgoing president Vijay Anand Moonka congratulated the newly elected team, noting that many members had previously contributed to the Chamber’s initiatives and were well-equipped to carry forward ongoing projects. He assured continued support whenever required.

Former presidents Muralidhar Kedia and G.R. Golcha highlighted the Chamber’s legacy of unity among business leaders and wished the new team success in advancing the interests of the local business community.

President of Adityapur Small Industries Association (ASIA), Inder Agarwal, also congratulated the office bearers.

The event witnessed a strong turnout of entrepreneurs, traders, and prominent business leaders, reflecting the Chamber’s ongoing commitment to fostering a vibrant and unified business community in Singhbhum.
