Daltonganj, May 11: Security forces have started coming to Daltonganj to assist the local police in the maintenance of law and order and conduct of free and fair polling due on May 13 for the Palamu Lok Sabha seat.

Three rakes of the trains have so far arrived at the Daltonganj railway station with loads of security forces till the time of filing of this report on Saturday.

Security forces have come from Gujarat

There came one rake of the train of the security forces on Friday. It had come from Dabhoi in Gujarat.

Two rakes of the trains having loads of the security forces have arrived this Saturday morning today.

These two rakes are again from the state of Gujarat.

The Saturday rakes have come from Valsad and Udhna.  These two locations are in Gujarat.

Police ready hold fair polls: IG  

IG of Police Narendra Kumar Singh told this correspondent, “Police in Palamu, Garhwa and Latehar districts have made a very meticulous preparation for the conduct of the free and fair polling (Latehar to poll on May 20 coinciding with polling in the Chatra Lok Sabha constituency).”

“We are determined to hold an incident-free polling. Our forces are in total readiness to tackle any situation. We appeal to the voters and polling personnel to remain jovial in this great show of democracy,” added the IG.
