Jamshedpur, Dec 27: Prominent social worker Chanchal Bhatia was honoured with the prestigious Atal Tiranga Samman during a ceremony organized by the Salute Tiranga Sanstha at the NDMC Convention Centre in Delhi. The award was presented by Member of Parliament Manoj Tiwari, who felicitated Bhatia with a memento and a shawl.
The Atal Tiranga Samman is an annual recognition granted to 30 individuals across India for their exceptional contributions to society and public welfare. This year, Chanchal Bhatia from Jamshedpur was among the recipients, celebrated for his extensive social work.
Bhatia has been actively involved in initiatives such as providing education to underprivileged children, supporting girls’ marriages, and assisting families during Shraddha Karma rituals. He is also a dedicated platelet donor, having donated platelets 17 times to help save lives.

Expressing his gratitude, Bhatia thanked the Salute Tiranga Sanstha and its officials for the honor, emphasizing that this recognition is not just his but belongs to every citizen of Jamshedpur.
The event was graced by distinguished guests, including Pujya Swami Chidananda Saraswati Ji Maharaj, MP Manoj Tiwari, Salute Tiranga’s Founder and National President Rajesh Jha, National Director Nisha Solanki, and Jharkhand State President Ravi Shankar Tiwari.
