Jamshedpur, March 15: Keeping in view the extra rush of passengers during the Holi festival, South Eastern Railway has decided to run several Holi special trains.
08821/08822 Ranchi–Gorakhpur–Ranchi Holi Special
08821 Ranchi-Gorakhpur Holi Special will leave Ranchi on March 23 at 9.45 pm and will reach Gorakhpur at 4 pm the next day. In the return direction, 08822 Gorakhpur-Ranchi Holi Special will leave Gorakhpur on March 24 at 5 am and will reach Ranchi at 9.25 pm, the same day.
The Special train will have stoppages at Muri and Bokaro Steel City in South Eastern Railway jurisdiction.
08825/08826 Shalimar–Darbhanga–Shalimar Holi Special
08825 Shalimar–Darbhanga Holi Special will leave Shalimar on March 23 at 9.55 pm and will reach Darbhanga at 10 am, the next day. In the return direction, 08826 Darbhanga – Shalimar Holi Special will leave Darbhanga on March 24 at 6 pm and will reach Shalimar at 5.45 am, the next day.
08819/08820 Tatanagar–Saharsa–Tatanagar Holi Special
08819 Tatanagar – Saharsa Holi Special will leave Tatanagar on March 23 to at 1.20 pm and will arrive Saharsa at 3 pm, the next day. In the return direction, 08820 Saharsa – Tatanagar Holi Special will leave Saharsa on March 24 at 6 pm and will reach Tatanagar at 8.45 pm, the same day.
The special train will have stoppages at Kandra, Chandil, Purulia, Anara, Joychandi Pahar and Burnpur in South Eastern Railway jurisdiction.

08838/08839 Ranchi–Jaynagar–Ranchi Holi Special
08838 Ranchi – Jaynagar Holi Special will leave Ranchi on March 23 at 11.55 pm and will arrive Jaynagar at 4.30 pm, the next day. In the return direction, 08839 Jaynagar – Ranchi Holi Special will leave Jaynagar on March 24 at 11.50 pm and will reach Ranchi at 4.45 pm, the next day.
The Special train will have stoppages at Muri and Bokaro Steel City in South Eastern Railway jurisdiction.
08843/08844 Howrah–Mumbai Central–Howrah Holi Special
08843 Howrah – Mumbai Central Holi Special will leave Howrah on March 25 at 3 am and will arrive Mumbai Central at 5.30 pm, the next day. In the return direction, 08844 Mumbai Central – Howrah Holi Special will leave Mumbai Central on March 27 at 10.35 am and will reach Howrah at 8.05 pm, the next day.
The special train will have stoppages at Kharagpur, Tatanagar, Chakradharpur, Rourkela and Jharsuguda in South Eastern Railway jurisdiction.
08849/08850 Ranchi–Purnea–Santragachi Holi Special
08849 Ranchi – Purnea Holi Special will leave Ranchi on March 23 at 05.30 am and will arrive Purnea at 9 pm, the same day. In the return direction, 08850 Purnea – Ranchi Holi Special will leave Purnea on March 23 at 11.55 pm and will reach Ranchi at 2.25 pm, the next day.
The Special train will have stoppages at Muri and Bokaro Steel City in South Eastern Railway jurisdiction.
08853/08854 Tatanagar–Saharsa–Tatanagar Holi Special
08853 Tatanagar – Saharsa Holi Special will leave Tatanagar on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday between March 18 and April 5 at 7.20 pm and will arrive Saharsa at 11.20 am, the next day. In the return direction, 08854 Saharsa – Tatanagar Holi Special will leave Saharsa on every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday between March 19 and April 6 at 1 pm and will reach Tatanagar at 5 am, the next day.
The Special train will have stoppages at Chandil, Muri and Bokaro Steel City in South Eastern Railway jurisdiction.
