Ranchi, Sept 1: A young female college student, a native of Chhattisgarh, has died by suicide in her hostel room in Ranchi’s Lalpur area. The student was pursuing her undergraduate degree at St. Xavier’s College.
The tragic incident came to light on Monday when the student was found hanging in her room.
Hostel authorities immediately notified the police, who arrived at the scene to recover the body and begin their investigation.

Authorities found a suicide note at the scene. In the note, the student cited domestic issues and family disputes as the reasons behind her decision.
Police have informed her family and are continuing their investigation into the matter.
