Ranchi, April 8: Over 110 eminent radiologists of Jharkhand and different metropolitan cities of the country discussed and shared their experience over advancement in radiology at the 21st Jharkhand State Radiological Annual Conference which concluded at Rajendra Institute of Medical Science (RIMS) Ranchi.

In the academic session, state’s radiologists and expert faculty members of  Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi and Patna shared their experiences on the occasion and explained the arrival of new technology in radiology.

Chief guest RIMS director Dr (Prof) Rajkumar, Ranchi civil surgeon Dr Prabhat Kumar, Indian Medical Association (IMA) Ranchi chapter secretary Dr Pankaj Bodra also graced the annual conference.

During the academic session, 16 companies participated as sponsors and demonstrated advance radiological techniques and softwares. They also provided a platform for discussion over the scope of development in radiology techniques.

Dr (Prof) Suresh Toppo, Dr Rajiv Kumar Ranjan Dr Anish Choudhary, Dr  Rajan Pandey, Dr Nisha Roy, Dr Anima Khalkho, the members of the organizing committee of the 21st Jharkhand State Radiological Annual Conference played major role in making the programme, especially academic session, successful.

The organizing committee members said the conference not only helped the radiologists of the state to share their views on development with their counterparts across the country but also helped junior radiologists and students to know about advanced techniques.
