Jamshedpur, July 24: In response to the significant issue of traffic congestion observed during school hours, Ritu Raj Sinha, the managing director of Tata Steel UISL, convened a meeting with the principals of several schools in Jamshedpur today.
The schools included Sacred Heart Convent School, Loyola School, JH Tarapore School, DBMS School and Beldih Church School.

The meeting aimed to address this critical problem and included participation from Tata Steel UISL’s senior leadership team and the chief, Corporate Services, Tata Steel.

During the meeting, the managing director highlighted the severe traffic congestion on roads during school hours and emphasised on the importance of a collaborative approach to address this issue.
He suggested altering school start and end times as a potential solution and requested that the principals consider implementing this change to help reduce traffic congestion, to which they agreed upon.
The meeting reflects Tata Steel UISL’s commitment to community engagement and sustainable development, working in partnership with educational institutions to create a more efficient and environmentally responsible future.
