Dhanbad, April 2: DPS Bokaro principal Dr A S Gangwar has been conferred with Doctor of Letters (D. Litt.) by Thames International University, Paris (France).
The award was given at a function held at the Asia Arab Education and Leadership Summit in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) for his contribution to ‘Education and Administration’.
Dr Gangwar received a special appreciation certificate for his dedication, experience and contribution towards the nation and society.

Dr Manav Ahuja, the founder and CEO of TPEG International, Dubai and Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Gulf), The Thames International University; Dr E. K. Radhakrishnan Nambiar, managing director- Intime Creative Events, LLC (Dubai), Dr Firoze Khan, senior faculty at Westford University College, Sharjah – UAE were also present in the function.
Principal Dr Gangwar expressed his gratitude to the entire DPS Bokaro family, teachers, students, parents and staff, acknowledging their unwavering support and collaborative spirit in his journey of achievements.
A DPS Bokaro official said that even before this, Dr Gangwar had been awarded many international accolades in countries like Thailand, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Mauritius. These include the Global Excellence Award, Excellent Innovator, Global Principal Award and Exemplary Leader of the Year Award.
