Three new Kumbh Mela special trains announced

Jamshedpur, Dec 27: The New Delhi-based Railway Board approved the running of three Kumbh Mela Special trains to clear the rush of devotees.

Notifications and detailed schedules were issued for the running of the three Kumbh Special trains.

08425/08426 Bhubaneswar-Tundla-Bhubaneswar Special:

08425 Bhubaneswar-Tundla Special will leave Bhubaneswar on January 1, 8, 22, February 5, 19 and 26 at 12.30 pm and will reach Tundla at 8.15 pm, the next day.

In the return direction, 08426 Tundla-Bhubaneswar Special will leave Tundla on January 3, 10, 24, February 7, 21 and 28 at 3 am and will arrive Bhubaneswar at 7 am, the next day.

The special train will have stoppages at Dangoaposi, Chandil, Muri, and Bokaro Steel City under SER jurisdiction.

08417/08418 Puri-Tundla-Puri Special:

08417 Puri-Tundla Special will leave Puri on January 6, 20 and February 17 at 12.30 pm and will reach Tundla at 8.15 pm, the next day.

In the return direction, 08418 Tundla-Puri Special will leave Tundla on January 8, 22 and February 19 at 3 am and will arrive Puri at 9.45 am, the next day.

The Special train will have stoppages at Baleshwar, Jaleswar, Hijli, Midnapore, Bishnupur, Bankura, Adra and Bhojudih in SER jurisdiction.

08314/08313 Titlagarh-Tundla-Titlagarh Special:

08314 Titlagarh-Tundla Special will leave Titlagarh on January 9, 16, 23, February 6, 20 and 27 at 5 pm and will arrive Tundla at 2.30 am the third day.

In the return direction, 08313 Tundla-Titlagarh Special will leave Tundla on January 11, 18, 25, February 8, 22 and March 1 at 5 am and will reach Titlagarh at 11 am, the next day.

The Special train will have stoppages at Jharsuguda, Rourkela, Hatia, Ranchi, Muri, Ramgarh Cant in SER jurisdiction.

Notably, the grand Kumbh Mela would kick off at Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh on January 13 and continue till February 26.
