Jharkhand News: Timings of 20 trains departing from Tatanagar to change from Jan 1

Jamshedpur, Dec 28: South Eastern Railway today notified changes in departure timing of as many as 20 trains from Tatanagar railway station from January 1 (Wednesday).

Apart from this, the number of 44 passenger trains would also undergo a change.

Change in Train Timing

The timings of South Eastern Railway trains will be changed from January 1, and this change may affect the passenger travel experience.

  • Tatanagar-Ernakulam Express will leave at 5:00 am instead of 5:15 am.
  • Tatanagar-Visakhapatnam will leave at 7:25 am instead of 7:20 am.
  • Tatanagar-Yeshwantpur will leave at 5:45 pm instead of 6:15 pm.
  • Tatanagar-Bengaluru Express will leave at 5:45 pm instead of 7:15 pm.
  • Tata-Bilaspur Express will leave at 7:00 pm instead of 7:45 pm.
  • Tatanagar-Rourkela MEMU will leave at 5:20 pm instead of 3:35 pm.
  • Tatanagar-Brahmapur Vande Bharat will now at 2:30 pm instead of 2:50 pm.
  • Tatanagar-Buxar will leave at 7:55 am instead of 8:15 am.
  • Tatanagar-Hatia will leave at 11:50 am instead of 12:00 noon.
  • Tatanagar-Godda will leave at 2:00 pm instead of 2:15 pm.
  • Tatanagar-Jammu will leave at 4:55 pm instead of 5:05 pm.
  • Tatanagar-Amritsar Jallianwala Bagh Express will leave at 8:30 pm instead of 8:55 pm.
  • Tatanagar-Thawhe Chhapra will leave at 8:45 pm instead of 9:10 pm.
  • Tatanagar-Katihar will leave at 8:45 pm instead of 9:10 pm.
  • Tata-Patna Vande Bharat train will leave at 5:25 am instead of 5:30 am.
  • Tatanagar-Badampahar MEMU will leave at 4:15 pm instead of 4:00 am.
  • Tatanagar-Badampahar MEMU will leave at 9:35 am instead of 9:50 am.
  • Tata-Jaynagar train will leave at 6:40 pm instead of 6:50 pm.
  • Tata-Patna train will leave at 5:25 pm instead of 5:30 pm.
  • Tata-Ara train will leave at 7:55 am instead of 8:15 am.

Overall impact of the change 

This change is important for passengers. Now they will have to get updated information about the correct time and train number before planning the journey.

The aim of the alteration of train timing is to improve the passenger experience and make the operation of trains more effective.
