Jamshedpur, May 2: A horrifying murder has shaken the city as a 40-year-old trader Chhabi Lala Lohar, a resident of Kalyan Nagar in Bhuiyandih, was found dead in his own home late last night.

The gruesome incident came to light when his wife discovered him lying unconscious and covered in blood early in the morning.

With the help of local residents, Chhabi Lala was rushed to MGM Medical College Hospital (MGMMCH), where doctors declared him dead on arrival.

Illegal Liquor Trade Under Police Lens
Reports indicate that Lohar was allegedly involved in the illegal liquor trade in the area.
According to police, a sharp-edged weapon was used in the murder. Bloodstains were found on the walls, bed, and floor of the house, indicating the brutality of the crime.

Upon receiving the information, Sitaramdera police arrived at the spot and sent the body to MGM Medical College for post-mortem.
Case Registered, Multiple Angles Under Review
A case has been registered against unknown assailants, and an investigation is underway.

Sitaramdera police station in-charge stated that multiple angles are being investigated, including possible business rivalry related to illegal activities.
The victim’s wife is also being questioned.

Police are reviewing CCTV footage from the area and are examining Lohar’s criminal background and financial dealings.
Police assured that the case will be solved soon.
