Khunti, April 23: BJP candidate Arjun Munda and INDI Alliance candidate Kalicharan Singh have filed their nominations for the Khunti Lok Sabha seat.
During the nomination filing, Arjun Munda was accompanied by BJP’s state president Babulal Marandi, AJSU supremo Sudesh Mahto, former MP and senior leader Karia Munda, along with a huge number of party workers.
Meanwhile, Kalicharan Munda was accompanied by Tamar MLA Vikas Kumar Munda and Simdega MLA Bhushan Bara.
Arjun Munda offered prayers at Amareshwar Dham temple before nomination
Before filing nomination Arjun Munda offered prayers at Amareshwar Dham temple. During the prayers, his wife, mother and children were also present.
On the occasion, Arjun Munda said that he offered prayers for the welfare of all. He said that the country is moving ahead under the leadership of Narendra Modi, and they are all working under the leadership of PM Modi.

He added that we should all work in the people’s interest, and this victory should be the victory of the people; with this prayer, everyone should progress, and everyone should have prosperity in their lives; this is prayed to God. After nomination, Arjun Munda also did a road show.
Kalicharan Munda also offered prayers at Maa Deori temple in Tamar before filing the nomination.
