Jharkhand News: XLRI Jamshedpur to hold 68th annual convocation on March 23

Jamshedpur, March 21: XLRI Jamshedpur will host its 68th Annual Convocation on Saturday, March 23 at the Football Ground on the B-school campus.

522 students to receive diplomas

The institute will bid farewell to 552 graduating students – among those who will receive their diplomas are 209 students of the Postgraduate Programme in Business Management, 176 students of the Postgraduate Programme in Human Resource Management, 113 students of the 15-month PGDM (General Management) Programme, 14 students of the Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) and 40 students of Postgraduate Diploma in Management (Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Venture Creation).

Speaking about the momentous occasion, Fr. S George, director, XLRI Jamshedpur said, “As XLRI marks its 75th year of excellence, we take pride in our legacy of shaping leaders who drive societal change and economic progress. To the graduating class, congratulations on reaching this milestone. Your dedication and potential inspire us as you step into the world to make a meaningful difference.”

Tata Sons chairman Chandrasekaran to be chief guest

N Chandrasekaran, chairman, Tata Sons will be the chief guest for the 68th Annual Convocation event.

He is an ingenious business executive, a compassionate leader with an unyielding commitment to our society and to our nation – he has embodied high standards of ethical leadership through the strategic decisions that have not only led to the growth of the Tata brand but also reinforced the lasting Tata legacy of prioritising national interests.

In absolute appreciation of his inexorable leadership journey of putting society and nation first, XLRI will present the Sir Jehangir Ghandy Medal for Industrial & Social Peace to Chandrasekaran.
