Jamshedpur, March 20: On the occasion of the International Day of Happiness, Narbheram Hansraj English School (NHES) organised a Mental Health Workshop.

The theme for the lnternational Day of Happiness 2025 is ‘Caring and Sharing’, emphasizing the power of kindness, compassion and generosity in fostering a happier world.
The session aimed at fostering emotional resilience, stress management, and overall mental health awareness among young learners.

This initiative came in response to the growing need for mental health recognizing that students face academic pressures, social challenges, and personal struggles that can impact their well-being.

The programme included interactive and motivating workshops by guest speakers, Dr Suprabha Dey, Assistant Professor at Amity University of Education Lucknow and Durga D Pathak, a management expert who has worked for 37 years at Tata Steel in the Human Resources and Industrial Relations Division.
The Principal, Paramita Roy Chaudhury emphasized the importance of prioritizing mental health in the school. “Our goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where students feel heard, valued, and empowered to seek help when needed,” she said.
The Chief Guest for the event was Nakul Kamani, President of Narbheram Hansraj English School and one of the leading entrepreneurs of the town. He stated that mental wellness sessions are very important for preparing students to face real-life challenges.
The enrichment session was initiated by Shivani Goel, President of the Rotary Club of Jamshedpur, Steel City.
